Shipping Policy for Funnella Rose
At Funnella Rose, we take pride in the enchantment and care we pour into every luxury candle. Because our products are artisanal and temperature-sensitive, we follow a specific shipping protocol to ensure your candle arrives safely and beautifully.
1. Order Processing Times
Standard Processing: All orders are processed within 2-5 business days. Some candles may be curing, and if you order on a weekend, we will not ship until Monday, which is the first business day of the week (or Tuesday if Monday is a holiday).
Small Batch Quality: Because our candles are hand-poured in small batches, please allow this time to ensure your candle has properly cured before it begins its journey to you.
Note: We may not ship on weekends or major holidays to prevent packages from sitting in non-climate-controlled carrier facilities. Most shipping takes place Monday through Wednesday.
2. Shipping Rates & Methods
Domestic Shipping: We ship via USPS nationwide within the domestic USA only.
Flat Rate & Thresholds:
- Standard Shipping: $12.85, usually 2-3 days delivery time
- Enjoy FREE Shipping on all orders over $80
Expedited Shipping: May be available at checkout for an additional fee. We highly recommend requesting expedited shipping during summer months to minimize time in transit. For special requests, please contact us at hello@funnellarose.com
3. Summer & Extreme Heat Policy
Candles are delicate treasures! To prevent melting during the hot summer season:
Monday–Wednesday Shipping: We primarily ship early in the week to avoid your order sitting in transit over the weekend.
Protective Packaging: During high-heat periods, we may use insulated liners and protective materials to safeguard your candle. A slight packaging fee may apply during summer months.
Customer Responsibility: Please track your package closely and bring it indoors immediately upon delivery. Funnella Rose is not responsible for candles left in direct sun or hot mailboxes for extended periods.
4. Fragile Handling & Damaged Items
We may use premium corrugated boxes and/or protective bubble wrap to keep your candle safe during its journey.
Damaged on Arrival: While we do not accept returns on hand-poured luxury candles, we will always make it right if your item arrives damaged.
How to Report: Email us at funnellarose@gmail.com within 3 days of delivery. Please include clear photos of the damaged candle AND the shipping box for insurance purposes.
5. Tracking Your Order
Once your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number. Please allow 24–48 hours for the carrier to update the status.
